(1) G 7000 X
Owing to Said's illness and Dunham's absence, nothing was done on G 7000 X.
(2) G 7050
G 7050 A: Finished the hole in the filling of G 7050 where pit A should have been and encountered gebel gravel (about 50 cm), and under that the rock. There is no pit A which is what was to be expected if G 7050 be the mastaba of the Nefretkau.
G 7050 B: The main pit. Down 9.2 meters using ladders. Dirty debris as before.
On the northern end of the mastaba, removed the disturbed debris between it and the old retaining wall and exposed a floor (an old mason's debris near the front of old retaining wall).

G 7060 A: The pit ends at rock surface and was never finished.
G 7060 B: Down 14 meters. Held up by big weathered block of stone which had to be broken up.
