Opened trenches 35 and 36 and exposed graves XXIX [G 7000 SW 29], XXX [G 7000 SW 30], and XXXI [G 7000 SW 31]. Also an obscure rubble wall [ILLUSTRATION] the character of which is not clear.
When the graves were made the surface was not far from its present level but has since been slightly denuded by weather.

Seventy-sixth day of work.
Said's illness progressing normally. Dr. Coleman called in Dr. Phillips this morning.

A closer examination shows that the supposed doorway in the lower pit, south side is only an unfinished cutting about 50 cm deep.

After photographing the filling of the pit at this stage, leveled the filling with limestone fragments and put in a wooden floor as a stage to the next step in clearing the main deposit. I am convinced that there is nothing in the tomb except the main deposit.
