(5) G 6040
Followed main causeway to east for a distance of 28.7 meters where it runs under our old dump heap (Steindorff?). Ordered the men to pass around the dump and try to pick the causeway up beyond in the low ground. The causeway is headed for the back of mastaba G 4330, so that it probably turns one way or the other (south?) before reaching that mastaba. The "unexplained ramp" appears to be the southern parapet of this causeway as far as front of G 6041 where it turns (?) south as if to form an enclosing wall for G 6040. But has been altered by the building of the mastabas G 6041, etc. The doorway to G 6042, G 6043 were broken through the south parapet of the causeway.

(6) G 7000 SW (southwest)

In 29: late graves XXII [G 7000 SW 22], XXIII [G 7000 SW 23].
In 32: late grave XXIV [G 7000 SW 24]
