The morning at 7:30 was made the very important find of a fine limestone portrait bust of Ankhaf [25-3-241] which had fallen from its pedestal at the north of room I in the Exterior Chapel of G 7510. This is an almost perfect piece and displays the most amazing technique and beauty of form. It is life-size and painted the usual red, the bones of shoulder and back and skull are shown with admirable skill and restraint, and the expression is very lifelike. It was found lying on its back on the floor of this room, head south.
