G 7111 A, B, C, D, E.
G 7111 A: Pit A of G 7111 has now been cleared and planned. It was empty, and comprised one shaft with single chamber at west containing rectangular hole sunk in the rock (for coffin). The pit was sunk below the entrance to this chamber for some distance in order to make another chamber on the east side of pit. This latter chamber was only started on. See sketch below:
