(5) Street G 7400
Railhead has now reached a little to south of north end of G 7420.
The east of G 7421 is being cleared, and two burials of the Roman era were found in it. One body was in the debris only and the other in a grave made of stones, roofed over with slabs. See No. 20 below.
(6) Avenue G 2
Avenue G 2: south of street G 7300. Men clearing out debris from south of street G 7300. Crude brick walls of structure, whose outline is not yet clear, are coming to light. This structure seems at this juncture, to form part of that to the west between G 7320 and G 7330.
(7) G 7210
G 7210 B: Now working in chamber. Nothing special to report.
(8) G 7220
G 7220 A: Not worked on.
(9) G 7310
G 7310 B: This is now finished (see page 114 for tomb street). The chamber is at the south.
(10) G 7410
G 7410 B: Cleared chamber A today, and after the necessary photographs have been taken chamber B will be cleared.
(11) G 7420
G 7420 B: Working in pit. The bash-reis inspected the chamber of this pit which is now visible and reported that it contained no coffin.
(12) G 7510
The men have been searching at the north of the mastaba for pits, but so far have found none.
