Clearing small mud brick mastaba, two niches in east face.

Rock-cut tomb in face of cliff. The inside is unfinished, the black outlining of figures and hieroglyphs being incised in places only. Found in debris outside Room 'a', fragments of relief [32-3-4] which may be part of the inscription over the entrance. This owner is [GLYPHS] [Ian], and his wife is [GLYPHS] [Neferhanisut]. There are four niches in the west wall, and on the east wall a list of offerings with [TRANSLITERATION] before an offering table. Commenced clearance of debris in Room 'a'. The fragments found outside the door have parts of the figures of [TRANSLITERATION] and a woman, with part of the name [TRANSLITERATION].

G 1227 A: Cleared lower part of pit which in unfinished. Depth 9 meters. [ILLUSTRATION] The chamber has been cased, and most of the floor pavement remains. On the walls are the red lines of the builders, and also on the ceiling.

G 1602 A: Depth 3.5 meters. Rubble above and roughly rock cut below. Chamber west. Cleared.
