In the space between 2092 [= G 3092] and 3001, where we are clearing out a stratum of dark debris, appeared to be what I at first supposed was a burial shaft; it turned out however not to be one. Shafts B and C of 3001 were filled with sand and limestone debris.

Shafts F, G and H of 3011 contained limestone debris, and shaft I in the offering room of 3011 contained sand and limestone debris. In the street between 3001 and 3012 there is loose sand, while above mastaba 3021 is a layer of sand and hard packed debris. The offering room and shaft A of 3012 have been cleared, and B and C are unfinished. All contain sand and rubble debris. Between 3012 and 3021 is mixed sand and hand packed limestone debris, while between 3031 and 3021 is sand, as also at the north end of 3001 and 3012. In the offering room of 3031 which was full of sand and hard packed limestone debris, were several fragments of a limestone stele, =G14.
