Finished clearing sand from chapel on east side of mastaba 3030, and from space between chapel and mastaba 3011.

Clearing pits A, B and serdab of mastaba 3012 of sand and limestone debris.
Wrote to Miss Paull.
Hafiz was here the whole evening. He told me that my two Australian friends were back. I shall expect them up tomorrow.
A fine day, but with a cold north wind.
