Twenty-three faience ushabtis, head and middle portions (part of group of 78+ ushabtis including 25-2-308, 25-2-571, 25-2-652, 25-2-653, 25-2-654); [combined: molded in half-mold, five different molds used: mold i) not retouched, back blade-dressed in one cut, some trimmed at edges of legs, hard-baked (?) light colored paste with traces of sand, blue glaze now often faded, body flat and wide, face broad and coarse, headress with striations along brow, no basket, no pilaster or base, most cracked in baking; mold ii) poorly molded (and further deformed during glazing), back finger-smoothed, core pink or brown, glaze faded, body narrow and thick, face very narrow and stands high over ears, no pilaster or base; mold iii) fairly hard-baked slightly pinkish paste, body large and wide, face very broad and somewhat flat; mold iv) well molded, retouched on hands, implements, and lappets, but not on face, hard-baked light drab paste, pale blue glaze, face small and features good, basket on back, pilaster (and base ?); mold v) back blade-dressed, core bright blue, head smaller than mold ii (but shoulders almost as shapeless); all Type III 2d, uninscribed: mold i = 51+, mold ii = 15+, mold iii = 10+, mold iv = 1+, mold v = 1+ (total = 78+, plus fragments of 5 intrusive? ushabtis); intact: mold i = 25, mold ii = 5 (total intact = 30); mended: mold i = 6, mold ii = 3 (total mended = 9); fragments: mold i = 20+, mold ii = 7+, mold iii = 10+, mold iv = 1+, mold v = 1+ (total fragments = 39+)] // [one fragment faience ushabti Type III 2d, hard-baked paste, core slightly greyish, glaze discolored, markings on back with blunt point, one stroke for lappet base, four small horizontal strokes for basket on left shoulder].
