Faience ushabtis of Patjenef
[Thirty-seven plus (37+)] large faience ushabtis, [Type III 2d], varying in size; [handmade, carved, hard-baked soft blue paste, pitted with air holes and occasionally with specks of sand, pale blue glaze (copper salt), well-made face (of type often associated with statues of Saitic period), corners of mouth turn up, face round and jovial, a few look a little more solemn, implements (hoes, cord and basket) carved with considerable care, pilaster generally not deep, base regular and well cut], inscriptions incised in soft paste, [inscriptions careless, after name and titles (often inaccurately inscribed) inscription lapses into nonsense], name: Ptahenef, Ptahemef, Themef, [Patjenef], child of Herib-Webastet [GLYPHS]; all broken, three incomplete, [one joins fragment from 25-2-1044, for one additional fragment cf. 25-2-310].
