Large series of faience ushabtis (cf. 27-4-1078, same type); half (front) molded, back and sides and base dressed with blade, in some examples slight retouching of ends of lappets and beard or on face, fine drab paste varying in hardness (degree of baking), thin pale blue glaze, lappet-wig, beard, hands opposite, rope and wooden hoe in right hand, metal hoe in left hand, lines on front lappets, horizontal line on back marks end of wig, basket crudely marked, base but no pilaster: fourteen perfect, sixty-five broken but complete, five heads, ten feet (eighty-nine minimum number).
