Old Kingdom black granite statue of squatting scribe; figure squatting on square base with rounded corners, right foot under left, left foot upside down under right upper leg, right hand clenched back up rests on right upper leg holding white painted handkerchief, left hand open palm down rests on left upper leg, wide full wig parted in middle hangs down to shoulders and a little longer at back (in thirty-one locks) but not covering earlobes, eyebrows and eyelashes and iris painted black, traces of red color on white of right eye, broad band necklace with pendant amulet hangs down on chest, large white rectangle (with wide blue stripe and traces of red) hangs down at back, wide white painted bracelet with traces of blue on each wrist, apron (not covering knees and with little corner pulled up on left side of navel) painted white, faded traces of red paint on back of head and left shoulder blade, nipples painted black, stone between torso and upper arm painted black and black outline all around separating figure from base; inscription: name [GLYPHS] Tjenti inscribed on top of apron painted green, and [GLYPHS] on front part of base painted white.
