Limestone inventory stela

Limestone inventory stela of the daughter of Khufu. Inscription begins [anX Hr mDd nswt -bjtj Xwfw dj anX] "Live the Horus Medjed, the king of Upper and Lower Egypt Khufu, given life" and continues with a dedication to Isis. In the course of the inscription there is mention of a temple to the goddess built next to the Sphinx to the north, west of another temple dedicated to Osiris. The middle of the stone is filled with inscriptions in four registers. In the fourth register, Apis and the Great Sphinx occupy the ends of the scene. The center reads: "The place of the Sphinx Horemakhet is south of the temple of Isis, the regent, and north of the temple of Osiris, lord of Rostau." The bottom of the stela is crudely executed.
