- From excavations of Georg Steindorff, 1905. This reserve head has historically been confused with another (GEM_13053 = EMC_JE_47838), found by Twefik Boulos in 1923, somewhere in the Eastern Cemetery. Thus GEM_8029 (= EMC_JE_37832) is incorrectly attributed to the Eastern Cemtery in Porter-Moss and Smith, WS, A History of Egyptian Sculpture and Painting in the Old Kingdom.
