Mummy (head missing); name [GLYPHS] Petosiris, son of Amenhetep(?), and child of [...]bastet, cartonage on front, traces of collar on breast, [painted collar consists of eight rows of beads: 1) cylindrical beads alternating red and blue, 2) yellow daisies with green centers, 3) yellow pedal(pendant)-shaped beads on red background, 4) plaque beads alternating red and yellow, 5) yellow daisies with green centers, 6) yellow pedal(pendant)-shaped beads on red background, 7) cylindrical beads alternating red and yellow, 8) alternating red and blue beads], [below collar image of kneeling god(dess ?) wearing necklace of blue drop beads faces right, surmounted by solar disk (like divine flesh in gold leaf), wings outspread], [below deity] single [vertical] line of text 55 inches in length and 2 inches in width [GLYPHS], text incised in gold leaf, [between broad] bands of blue paint 1.6 wide, [to either side, only one of original four gold leaf sons of Horus survives]; [layers of wrapping from outside in: layer of white plaster on layer of bitumen (?), several layers of narrow bandage wrappings (2.3 - 3.4 cm wide) laid neatly in regular overlapping (about one-third of their width) rows, layer of linen sheet (much decayed), about ten layers of cloth bands (5.2 - 6.3 cm wide) laid more or less crosswise, layer of narrow bandage wrappings (about 3 cm wide), two layers (5 cm and 7 cm, respectively) with no traceable system of bandaging, thick layer of narrow strips (about 3 cm wide) stuck together in solid mass]; [body filled with hard shiny black substance (bitumen ?), hands crossed on breast (right over left)]; [cloth fairly fine weave, warp and woof of about equal number of threads, no scarabs or beads found on mummy]; [sides of mummy much decayed, bandages on right side little more than black dust] (reburied).
