Mastaba is south of G 8993 (Kaemnefret Complex) and northwest of G 8988 (Rawer (1)). Excavated in 1930-1931 by Hassan.
Research Activity
Substructure. Behind the false-doors are two shafts (S 294 and 294 bis) with side burial chambers. The first shaft was found intact; among its objects are a gold diadem and necklace). Superstructure. The entrance to the chapel of this mastaba has two pairs of jambs. No traces of inscriptions are now visible. The doorway leads to a chapel. On the western wall of this chapel are two false-doors which were plastered and probably decorated.
