- Remarks
- Object register entry for this object notes “For drawing and data, see “Hans Handrick” coffin notes and drawings;” this presumably refers to this page. Note reads “Note! The only exact measurements that could be taken, were those of the lid, giving the length as 85.5 cm & the width as 40.5 cm. All the other frags. have shrunk more or less, the northern cross-piece under the lid measuring only 32 cm instead of 36 cm as shown by the imprint on the lid. The northern end measures only 30-31 instead of 38 cm. The top board on the west side measures only 74.5 cm, shrinkage 11 cm, while the eastern top board measures 85 cm correctly. The exact height (34 cm) is doubtful, it may be more, as the mummy rested with skull on a decayed head-rest, which could not be reconstructed.”
